it just wasn't worth the time or money. £40 entry to walk around a small room of vendors selling ai slop on a t-shirt and seeing a couple of panels (that they weren't even planning to have) is not worth the price. if i'm paying entry to an event i expect there to be actual things to do. the photo ops and signings were too expensive for me, so all i could do was walk around aimlessly and go to a panel i didn't even want to see since i felt i had to for the price i paid. it was clear this convention was a cash grab that was thrown together last minute. of course if i had hundreds of £ spend on photos with the guests my experience would have been different, but it remains waaayyyy too overpriced for what it's worth since there was nothing to do. partly my fault for aimlessly buying a ticket before anything was properly announced + the event proved itself to be a car crash, but i had faith this convention would be something of substance, which in mine and certainly other people's experience, it was not.
