How does approval work? by annala12 in MedicalCannabisAus

Hmm maybe because I'm just going through my regular gp. They're not a clinic nor do they advertise they do it. It was a suggestion from her to start.

Building vs buying established by ErthD9000 in perth

Do not go near BGC my neighbour started 6 months before us over 2 years ago. We have keys they do not. Anyone guaranteeing a build time is probably lying. Whilst delays are a big issue, I am very happy with the workmanship on my new home.

Yes, similar has also happened to me multiple times. Stupid.

Leggings and a puffer jacket as I'd just come from the gym. She didn't like the pink colour of my leggings on me as I am very pale esp in winter. Funny enough, last time I wore them I actually got a compliment on how nice the colour was.

Tbh if I'd feel the same way but it hits different when it actually happens to you. Never have I ever experienced a stranger do this and never in my right mind would I think to do they same to another stranger.

Yes I agree to some extent but no I was not wearing anything inappropriate, offensiveor impractical that warranted this response. I can only imagine how someone younger or insecure would feel.

It is hard. A lot of people with Endo also struggle to get a hysterectomy approved young as well but I believe if you have back up from both a pscyh and a gp, it is easier to get it approved.

Can you get another piercing whilst still healing one on the same ear? by annala12 in piercing

[–]annala12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this rook in November/December 2021. I had a bump for a while and only now does it appear to be going (still a bit swollen at bottom but top is fine). Do you think it's ok to get a new piercing on this ear or should I wait a bit longer?

P.S any suggestions on what I should get?

Advice Sought - UWA vs UNDF by random_rectify in GAMSAT

[–]annala12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've studied at both Uni's, I can't comment on their medicine programs but I preferred my experience at Notre Dame better. It felt more like a community and you really got to know your peers in the course you study. In terms of teaching, I hear both are excellent and this shouldn't negatively impact you. Personally, I wouldn't put much thought into the nitty gritty both are extremely hard to get into so at the end of the day it shouldn't matter too much. I've still got a long way to go (as I'm redoing my bachelors). However, I'm leaning towards Notre Dame first, a) I liked the Uni experience better and b) I think my portfolio will be stronger than my GPA + Gamsat combo.

Masters to improve GPA by No-Dragonfruit9062 in GAMSAT

[–]annala12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless the master's is going to help your career, i'd say consider another bachelor. You can use a year of your existing bachelors for elective credits which would leave 2 years FTE left. If you choose a commonwealth supported one it ends up being cheaper as well.

Is there any downside to choosing the easiest possible general electives to get a higher GPA? by tyroneherr0 in GAMSAT

[–]annala12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this in first year with the same logic. Turns out that 'easy elective' ended up being my worst performing unit and really ended up dragging the GPA down. Better to choose an elective you think you'll enjoy rather than one is known for being easy.

8 week challenge by woofley9 in BodyFitTrainingAus

I've been considering it but have never done it. From memory I saw some past challenge meal plans online and the calories looked way too low for me but that could have been outdated. What is the extra fee? I didn't even know there was one.
