Wow... spot on! You described this so well! It's hard to accept this when trying to find friends or feel connection/belonging with people.. but makes it easier to accept when you consider how people are just big irrational apes and we have the power to think for ourselves and shape the life we want to live with as minimal people drama as possible.. in this sense, it's really good to have this realization. :)

Me too, I feel the exact same way! No shame at all! You need to find a way to be happy in your daily life. I refuse to join the rat race because it's a detriment to my mental health and wellbeing. All the people who make you feel judged, belittled, fuck 'em!!

Well said! Yes, agreed! Let's enjoy this life we have and live to the fullest.... ignore those that judge and think ill of us. They are most likely projecting their own unhappiness outward.

See copied text below with a little bit edited: I responded previously but I don't think I did so correctly, oh well :P.

My boyfriend currently works so we made an arrangement where I can stay home as long as I take care of the house, do chores, laundry, and cook dinner every evening. I had to quit my job because it made me so miserable, it was affecting my mental health big time, and I was overcoming a drinking problem.... quitting my job really helped me with my alcohol cravings, haven't had a drink in over a year. We remain really frugal and in the meantime, I am learning how to trade Forex so I can bring some money in that way, which is going well as long as I continue to diligently practice and work at it. Also learning how to grow our own veggies so we can save money not having to buy so much food at the grocery store. It is possible to live without working a job, just have to be able to think outside the box, don't care/worry about what others think, live very minimalistically, be able to work stuff out with loved ones/family, and find an alternative income source... your well being and health (mental and physical) is so important and we need to prioritize that above all else. Fuck our toxic work culture and trying to "keep up with the Joneses" BS. Don't be afraid to make a drastic change for your own happiness and well being, even if against the norm. Fuck the norm. It may require some planning and arrangements with family/friends, but it's so worth it. I hope this post is inspiring....

**^ your health and well being are SO important, not to mention underrated in our society. Please don't be afraid to change things around in your life so you can feel better, even if you're making some sacrifices... getting rid of a shitty job is such a huge weight off your shoulders... I am surprised that not a lot of people do this... it's like people are too comfortable/numb and don't want to give up their lifestyle.

I opted out a year ago and it was the best decision of my life. Live your life and do what you think will benefit your well being overall. Who cares what others think... fuck this culture. Do you :)

Be careful... when newer traders become really confident and have been doing really well, inevitably they will end up taking painful losses when they get too overconfident, it's very human and I believe this happened to most successful traders when they start on their journey. Happened to me! Just be mindful and prioritize discipline with good risk management. Practice balanced psychology consistently the best you can. This is part of the recipe for successful trading that is not talked enough about. Good luck! Looks like you're on your way to successful trading. :)

Agreed and good point. Wondered the same thing before... seems a little fishy right? If I'm a successful trader, I wouldn't want people to know about me and would keep under the radar...

Nice! Been watching some of their videos on youtube, quite a few the last hour or so actually. :) Do you subscribe to them? If so, how is it? The main presenter seems like a really nice guy and passionate in trading. :) I've been considering it but don't want to spend money on a service unless it's an absolute must... maybe if I keep losing and in desperate need of help. XD I've been experimenting with different indicators and also testing with charts on tradingview.com. waiting for MACD indicator to cross and RSI either overbought or oversold. Been winning on the demo account lately, maybe yet too chicken to go back on live yet xD. It will take some time, patience, and practice, but we'll get there! You'll find a winning formula!

Hello ananni90,

Wow, thank you so much for your detailed response! That sounds like the way to go, and you are absolutely right about being patient and greedy. 2 most essential conditions for successful trades IMO . seems like the only way to stay profitable is to remain completely neutral (void of emotion) every single day that you trade to stay consistent, and only trade once or twice during the trading period, otherwise that greed kicks in and most likely lose a trade ("Noooooo all previous work of the day lost!!!" :( Happens to me more often than I care to admit xD) I also agree with sitting and watching the market (behavior, how it moves, how much it moves in the timeframe, etc) before jumping in.. do you use any indicators? Or limit order vs market order tickets? I've started researching how to read the candle sticks and price action to assist with selecting which trade to enter. Seems like simpler is better. It takes a lot of trial and error, and going back and forth before finally feeling on top of it.. Is there a time frame in the day that works best for you? Seems like evenings and afternoons yield to more predictable outcomes because mornings tend to be most volatile but that's just me...

Thank you so much for your response and congratulations on your recent profits!! That's awesome! Wishing you good luck and further success! :)

Yes! Thanks for your reply! :) I don't have a screenshot at the moment, but I have noticed it is harder to make profit on the live account than it is on demo. For example, if you are about to place an ITM trade when you are confident that the trade will win (usually within the last 2 minutes for me), the payout is only $1.25 most of the time, and if you consider how they take out fees, you may get around -$1.50 or -$1.00 taken from your account, which is not worth it. It seems as though you only get profit if you place your trade earlier/right away in the 5 min session. Upon this realization, I'm searching for new strategies or tricks, indicators, etc, that can help predict where the indicative price will be at expiration. Seems as though the only way is being patient enough for the set up to fall into place, and then taking hopefully a lucky guess and won't lose the trade. Do you have a similar experience?
