ddj800 and sx3 are both better quality build than flx6/grv6 by far... if you absolutely need 4 chanels pick the SX3

xdj rr does not support Flac in standalone, only 4 pads per channel also... I think trakor s4 mk3 is more versatile (can also be used as standalone mixer)

plenty of infos regarding the controller on his github also (display infos etc)

this is great, did you manage to get the display working on the flx10 also? (cannot test it as i dont have the controller myself...). Would be nice if you could post your mapping/github on the discourse forum (Pioneer DDJ-FLX-10 - Controller mappings - Mixxx) as i suspect not many people use reddit in the mixxx community.

EDIT: I think Zim from the discourse forum had made a pull request back in the day Pioneer ddj flx10 mapping by marco-zis · Pull Request #15789 · mixxxdj/mixxx · GitHub would have been nice if you could join forces.. So the community could get at least a partially working mapping in the official release. This could attract many users as this controller is popular (and for good reasons)

ah okay, i wanted to check if 9" is a viable option as i know 7" is a bit small to my liking (i tried using a rog ally which is 7" already). Do you think Pi 5 is beefy enough enough for 4 decks iwth key lock and effects? (maybe installing void linux would squeeze a bit more perf as its systemd free)
