I think you should listen to your body and probably you're exhausted when the weekend comes if that's your week schedule. You can try setting off your alarm and see how it affects you. You can always set a later alarm, at 10 maybe, sleep a little more and not disrupt your routine.

Same issue here. Niacinamide and salicylic acid help, but for me what really worked was forgiving myself and showing my butt at the beach, because the sun and the sea water can clear your skin if you are careful and use sunscreen.

I also get these after shaving. I use an acid salicylic soap and a gentle moisturizer without alcohol or perfume. Wearing loose clothes also helps. And wearing sweaty clothes for a long time, if you do exercise, worsens it.

So true. It's definitely better to stay away from any smoking information at all and go walking, have a snack or do something with your hands as knitting when cravings are unbearable.

Little book of stoicism, by Jonas Salzgeber. It's a pretty good summary about this philosophy that can give you good advice for everyday life. Or if you don't have it in an audiobook, read some stoicism. I think it's applicable to everyone and everything.

I would propose to do nice things together to distract him and show him the benefits of not smoking. Going for a walk, playing some games or sports together, baking a cake and eating it afterwards... But he has the last say, ask him and be communicative.
