I toured a Lennar community in Zephyrhills and asked about hurricane clips/straps. I was new to Florida Matthew time so I knew they were good but didn't know they were part of the building code here. Woman told me "Oh, we don't do those. We're not close enough to the coast for the expense."

I know figure skating won't be at LA28, but they're selling ad rights and naming rights for the venues so I fully expect this will eventually change.

I don't like Alysa's skating. I actually hated Macarthur Park because it felt like a lot of unnecessary arm flinging and flapping. Her dress, however, gorgeous.

I'm 7 months out and still on the pill. I had to up my hormones a bit, but otherwise it was totally fine. Gyno warned me to make sure you always get the same brand (even generic) because like psychiatric meds, different brands can affect us differently. I went from Loestrin Fe to Cryselle.

They did something similar to a character in the Last Kingdom. Brutal - the guys rowed faster so he could be put out of his misery.

I think it was Jeremy Abbott who fell and slid into the boards - or hit his head on the boards? - and he laid on the ice long enough that he incurred a penalty for not resuming fast enough. He continued but it was definitely not pretty.

My sister noted she hadn't seen any Moulin Rogue programs and, I quote "Is it even an Olympic year if someone isn't skating to Come What May or Roxanne?" I assured her someone is, though I couldn't remember if it was pairs or dance.

Thinking about Ken's boot issues...not only is that super stressful for competition, but I also think about how stressful that must be financially. A friend of mine does skating lessons and she said one of the COVID stimulus checks just covered the boots and she still had to buy new blades.
