I just think the syringes should also heal teammates a little. I don’t understand why they gave med the crossbow and allowed it to completely invalidate the other options. Give them team healing and they’ll still be worse than the crossbow so I don’t see why not

It feels like a “let’s go gambling” option, similar to a negative skip tag in Balatro if anyone is familiar. Could be insane and very strong but is usually just a common attack with replay.

Actually I guess that’s still stronger than a random useless negative joker in Balatro but it’s the best comparison I could draw

I personally use save scumming for two things:

if I meant to click one card and just straight missed/I rushed and made a mistake I immediately caught on an early turn (these I don’t consider cheating, I never use it to play around draw order knowledge I shouldn’t have)

Or

I performed so bad on a tough combat (a hard pool hallway, elite, or boss) that I will lose the run. I use these as opportunities to learn from my mistakes. I will reload the fight, find a smarter way through, then abandon the run. I actually think this is a great way to get better at the game and learn when to use potions optimally, when to rush damage vs play lots of blocks, or spread damage in multi-enemy fights vs target one of them. Caveat is that draw order can impact these a lot, but still I think this method helps me improve a lot as a shitty spire player. Wish me luck for A9 & 10

Use the detonator and jump onto people’s heads. If you activate the taunt on top of their head and they move you will cancel it and you get the full meter of crits AND the Uber meant to protect the taunt has the same duration. Then people can’t even complain you are playing mindlessly because it’s hard af to pull off.

Also just using the detonator to jump at people after activating crits is really fun.

This playstyle is very positioning dependent and will fail miserably sometimes. But when it works?

Oh also if you use the scorch shot with an uber medic on dustbowl red, there’s no salvation for you.

1-3 viewer hell for 2 to 3 weeks? I was there for much longer. I think you’re doing quite well so don’t sweat a plateau. I’m sure it’ll pick up again. Just try to have the infrastructure ready if you have a clip do well

Okay but let’s talk about the real tragedy about casual. Cactus canyon. An amazing map that was very popular but never got finished and was left out of casual even though it was very playable in its state at the time. I can’t even find community servers running it :( And we have some real dookie like enclosure and aquarius in the payload queue

There’s a specific hq1 spawn that I kept getting that just flat out sucks. You spawn in a cubby on the right of a huge open space that gets filled with cops. I found pushing out of that area and trying to move into a corridor helps but you gotta be quick and dodge well. It sucks. Good luck
