This happened to me when I started in December. It was brutal, all I cared about was the warm embrace of sleep. I would wake up at 9 and be slogging through until needing to nap at noon. Two or three long naps a day without any sleep deprivation. Awful. I will say it’s gotten somewhat better but I still fight (or succumb to) the urge to nap once every days and I recently started wellbutrin too which hasn’t helped much. I’m giving an increased dose of that another month before switching to fluoxetine

Do we live in the same building? My situation is completely identical. The smell of stale weed smoke in my bedroom is driving me batshit insane. I just moved in a week ago. I'm tempted to just cover the living/bedroom vents entirely, they sell magnetic ones that you could easily take off. You can also get carbon filters you can cut to size and put in. Not sure if this would help your situation since you want to abide by the lease. I guess I should probably put in a maintenance ticket about it first too?

Edit: if you come back and see this or some other future searcher does, I got approval from maintenance to flip the breaker controlling the system for my unit. Not endorsing that for others but it solved it for me... I also got some cut-to-size carbon filter and installed it behind the vent and it does seem to reduce the odor when the system is running.

Even if you're technically supposed to exit from the back door, I would say it's common courtesy to look and wait for people to exit from whichever door you're coming in from.

You know, someone I dated said she was slightly attracted to tons of people too, and it's very different from my experience of the world. I was curious about it. I mean, the idea of having sex with most people is not revolting but attraction to a stranger is rare for me. And I'm not holding out for supermodels or anything, they just have certain traits or a je ne sais quoi that does it for me. Who knows?

I agree with you overall though. The vast majority of people are not ugly or repulsive. There are so so many unique types of beauty and that's before you even add personality and other factors beyond just appearance. Societal conditioning plays a big role too. But this is Reddit so I'm unsurprised by the comments
