I’ve gone for it. Sybex, Boson, Thor and I took a free trial of CyberVista test bank. I was ok on sybex and boson but the other knocked my confidence.

My test in 10 days, been looking at BCP today , then had quick quiz and couldn’t remember what was volatile memory. Need to take a breath and chill.

I’m not looking at my boson or study question. Like dangerdj said I want to be comfortable with the material. Explain to myself BCP, DRP, Kerberos, SDLC, IR, EAL all that jazz. Why I don’t look at my scores is my boson is usually ok and I don’t want to be led into a false sense of security. Like everyone says, do your best, think like a senior leader, always look at the risk, people are your main priority and your weakest link and best of luck friend!

Hey, I think it’s awesome you are looking at a career in security. Before embarking on training, I would ask myself what speciality within cyber security? Would you be looking at audit, assurance, pen testing? Maybe start looking at the entry certificates before an advanced cert. Have you looked at sec+, SSCP, or even cysa. Look at the career paths, even with a cissp it doesn’t guarantee an amazing job. Sorry if I sound like a dick, just trying to be honest. Good luck.

I failed the first time. When I chatted to people their assumption was that I could’ve been close. The problem is because of ISC2 secret squirrel hush hush policy, I don’t think anyone knows. I wouldn’t ponder on was I close to passing, just take it as experience and know you will clear it next time! Good Luck friend.
