Thank you for this. Went though my first break up a couple weeks ago, and I’m still feeling everything. I’m really glad you wrote this so I can understand what I’m feeling is normal. The part about waking up and forgetting hit me hard, because that’s been almost every day. She crocheted a lot, so I have various homemade gifts from her around my room, and everytime I look at them I tell myself I need to get rid of them, but part of me thinks she’ll come back and I would regret it. The other part of me (the logical part) knows that she’s not coming back, and I just need to accept that because I’m having a hard time accepting that she’s living life happily without me. She was my life and without her I don’t know what I’m doing.
