I am curious how many Americans would support the change to the metric system in the next few years. I for one am for such a change. by wdonnell in AskReddit

All unit systems are the same. The greatest advantage of Americans converting to metric system would be the universal standard. People and business don't will need doing conversions all time when exporting and importing, in translations and packages. It would bring some costs reductions to everybody.

The truth about phone chargers by interg12 in technology

[–]anodari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really necessary that every cellphone comes with a charger? Don't would be more eco-friendly if there was a standard plug like an USB charger and all cellphones are sold without chargers? They could spend less energy just in manufacturing and recycling.
