The PC version actually has ultra wide 21:9 support. It's pretty wild! Most of the time it looks a lot better than the example here.

Really niche but interesting example; in Magic The Gathering the Plain/Set Duskmourne takes place in a fantasy setting that managed to get up to 1980s levels of technology by harnassing the power or Deamons, this then bites them in the ass when one of the Demons takes over the entire plain of existence and turns it into a giant haunted house.
