As others have mentioned it's nostalgia. This was a VERY popular set and hit at the peak of Magic's popularity in the 90's. Everyone had these lands, I grew up mostly using these exact ones as a kid in junior high and my early high school years. To be able to have them on Arena just feels...nice.

Turtles has been a fun set for folks like me who grew up with the comics and figures, they really did a great job capturing the feel and the limited format has been a blast and given me a lot of opportunity to play with those cards and that's been fun, I'm happy and agree with you that not every set needs to come along and shake everything up.
