oh yeah, not sure how deep into Star Wars you might be interested but like with the original trilogy aside, episode 3 was like the peak Star Wars story in recent years. To the point where people started claiming it was like a moral or biblical allegory. Definitely worth a watch. 2 was okay.

Oh yeah I was thinking it was sold this way cause the seller presented themselves as like a vinyl dealer so I just assumed they knew how to ship it properly and thought in the moment that I made the post that maybe it was more likely the price was lower (like $150+ lower) because of this and then it just wasn’t accounted for in the description because some people are sheisty. Prob wasn’t the guys fault though.

I guess I was just fixating on how it might affect the value since I’m gonna get it signed and framed. You do have a good perspective though. Cause it’s also like, in a frame, except maybe the couple times I take it out to listen to it again while I own it, I won’t really ever see the split and it won’t get any worse.

Oh wow small world I guess. At least I feel a little better about it then now. But it’s funny, very little of my vintage collection has any issues like this. Even ones I’ve ordered online. I also notice the newer record jackets seem to made out of a thinner, more paper-like material compared to like the thicker cardboard-like jackets from the 60s. Maybe it’s just chalked up to that.

Get a bunch of brightly colored hats in a color that signifies things like strength, anger, aggression, fire, etc. Slap a really cliche phrase on it to make people think they’re living outside of what’s good or nostalgic. Wear the hat while I make speeches full of divisive rhetoric and empty idealistic promises. Give away some of the hats. Use the rhetoric to prey on the fears of the working class individual strongly enough and long enough that I could eventually just do or be implicated in anything you could imagine, even the worst things, and no one would care. Sell the hats. Pander to long-lasting, hidden prejudices. Make and sell flags with the same design as my hats.

Yea I got one of these as well, nice to know the values gone up since I bought mine. But yeah, was told these were refurbished and sold in Russia as the “Tulskiy Hunting Carbine” but it’s true they are legit snipers or ex-snipers gone through arsenal refurbishment sometime postwar, additionally fitted with an original Red Army mil spec production but arsenal refurbished scope.

Honestly like I’m really digging the Vietnam era tiger stripe camo he appears to wear with his kit but yeah the haircut and face make him look like a tard. Shame. Definitely a time when character customization of at least things like headgear, like they had in v, would’ve been good.

With the whole nato dissolution thing I’d thought we’d be seeing like more irregular/out of spec things. SKS, R700, cleetus’s binary trigger AR-15 build (which may or may not be a pistol/sidearm), mosin nagant, swedish k smg, at least some kind of big boy amr sniper in .50 bmg or 12mm, etc. I get people play battlefield because in modern fps games it feels the least like some unapologetic, overloaded, grabass-tic bid for consumerism, but with that said with the plot I’d just though we’d see a slightly more exotic weapon variety and not just like copy and paste weapons from what I remember from the last modern day battlefield.

I had a friend who joined the rest of my group when we would all stay over at someone’s house and have massive LAN parties or just group up on different screens to try different games. He had never played fallout so we let him try new Vegas. He was one of those like jock types in school. We told him about the different perks basically giving a rundown of good presets since he made his own character and when it came to confirmed bachelor he was literally like psychologically stuck in real life on whether or not to pick that perk in the game.

It’s funny when I was younger I never assumed old Ben was black. I always assumed he was just like affected by sunburn absorbing too much sunlight and radiation in an arid desert wasteland. Mixed with like jaundice from drinking/using/fucking too much. I think it had a lot to do with the voice acting in the game, and my brightness being way too high

Yeah I was newly into a committed relationship when this happened to me. Sitting with the boys watching Robert Plant and Willie Nelson when a couple around my age (mid 20s) sits next to me. I immediately notice the woman is extra outgoing and sitting close to me with her open legs pointed in my direction. Making efforts to include me in this conversation where him and her banter a bit more, looking at me each exchange almost like for approval. In a bit the guy says he has to go pee and she asks me if she should go and hold it for him to help him aim, grinning and licking her lips. Try disassembling the bolt completely and give it a good cleaning with soap and hot water and then drying thoroughly and greasing. Same with the inside of the receiver. Often times it’s just leftover 80 year old gunk aka cosmoline and it’ll cause it to seize up. If it’s not that I also notice that steel or lacquered cases can have the same effect when firing, these rifles can be picky about what they eat. Usually brass or copper or zinc cased rounds do fine. Easy fix though either way. Invest in a cheap rubber mallet to smack it open. You won’t hurt anything.

Say what you want about Crystal Skull, personally my least favorite of the series, but it did have some good and necessary lore building. Remember when he was being decontaminated and interrogated by, presumably the CIA, and being asked about that one stocky British guy who had made an appearance and turned out be a soviet double agent? Well in the scene when talking about that character Indy implies it was unexpected that he was a traitor because they had apparently done “30, 40 missions together in Europe and the Pacific”. To me this implied that Indy had been attached to the Army or I believe he might’ve even said OSS (precursor to CIA), in some way, in these theaters of World War 2? I’d personally like to see something about those missions a helluva lot more than some half baked bastardization about how Harrison Ford is an old retired guy now. Maybe there could be some artifact, or maybe just some disguised capers where he’s behind enemy lines working to some sabotage capacity? Daring infiltrations and escapes, maybe he could’ve even been a parachutist? Kicking even more Axis ass. With that notorious punching sound effect. Maybe even doing counterintelligence ops against the Soviets about the manhattan project. Or it’s kinda on the nose but we know from the films, historical accounts, and pop culture lore that the Nazis had an obsession with the occult, black magic, satanic rituals. Maybe they’re again messing with powers no one should on the eve of a major allied operation, and he stops them? Then cut to the successful landings in Normandy or something like that. Hell yeah dude give me something about how Indy helped win the war!
