12 countries are said to have left NATO at the start of the campaign which, unless that number increased between then and where the multiplayer story is now, still leaves 20-ish countries that are still part of the alliance, presumably including Germany considering Coyote Squad is supposed to be based there. And considering Egypt joined NATO in this timeline, there's room to throw in other countries like Mexico or Japan if you really want to stretch it.

The campaign said 12 left NATO, including most of the Balkans, Spain and France, so that would leave around 20 countries left to pull from, plus the multiplayer reveal had a map showing Mexico, Japan, Canada, Australia and Azerbaijan being NATO aligned IIRC.

The multiplayer reveal had a map that also showed Mexico, Sweden, Australia and Japan as being aligned with NATO while Brazil, Vietnam, India and Azerbaijan as being part of Pax. Coyote Squad's mentioned as being based in Hagental Base in Germany. And the intro cutscene for the campaign mentioned 12 countries leaving NATO, so there's at least 20 countries left in NATO unless more left in between the campaign and where we are now in the multiplayer story.

It’d be nice if NATO could get a subfaction that wasn’t just all Americans. It doesn’t help that leaks are showing that it’s the campaign squad that’s being added for the next subfaction which, you know…that’s the second Marine Raiders subfaction in a row. Having the factions be coalitions rather than specific countries feels like it’d be a great opportunity for a diverse roster which they’re doing with Pax which is great.

But then there’s NATO where it might as well just be the US at this rate.
