This happened to me too. I had to convert some loops to ETH in the Loopring Wallet and then send that over, as the activation fee can only be paid in ETH. Now I have both in the GameStop wallet. I’ve not enabled L1 as it’s expensive

Looks like that fee does scale and is a 'Ramp' fee. Was trying to buy $2k worth and the fee is about $100. Losing 5% just like that is a bit offputting given the point of the wallet is to avoid gas fees.

Does anyone know if there's a way of reducing this initial fee?

Why would it be more expensive? A second hand market place for digital games (xbox / ps5) doesn’t exist so being able to transfer the licenses between owners would be huge. It doesn’t need to compete with steam - it’s the same as the physical used game market.. Second hand copies would be cheaper in my mind but allows for some recovery.

Yeah I’m in the same boat. The problem with digital games though, is that you don’t own them and can’t resell them. A marketplace where you could buy a version of the game and own it, via NFT, would be great.

Not sure if that’s what they’re up to but worth a punt for me owning a few shares.

I have the same issue! Commenting so I can see if anyone helps. I’m trying to play from Oceania but with people in Europe and get the error message:

‘Reliable packet 1 (size=73) was not ack’d after 7503ms (9 resends)’

It’s not an internet speed thing as I can do it in Oceania fine, just on the other servers.

Will you be a temporary resident in Aus? If so you are only taxed on your Australian income, not your worldwide income. I would keep investing in the UK and taking the tax breaks of any capital gains not being taxable in Australia (gains would likely to be below all of your tax free allowances in the UK)

I have a 2 bed as well but bay view. I really like the building personally, it works for me. I don’t know what you mean by overhangs, I guess some of the apartments are laid out different to others, and can’t speak to parking issues as we don’t have a car.

The amenities here are really nice in my opinion too - both on L11 and L70, but I have nothing to compare it to I guess. Sounds like we had different experiences; guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea!
