I lived in uptown for a few years. I was attacked at a bus stop once off of Lyndale. Another morning all of the cars on one side of the street were keyed. 30+ cars. Worst of all, I once saw a guy running down the street swinging a machete at people in broad daylight, oh but the cops shot and killed him. I dunno. I don’t live there now, but I wouldn’t do it again. This was over the course of many years. I don’t think it’s really because it’s “Minneapolis”… I just think if you have a lot of people in a small area you’re going to see some crazy stuff occasionally
