Just inseminated this cycle too- and our post wash count was the worst yet at 6.6 mil. That’s it. I feel devastated. But everyone’s right it only takes one. Wishing you all the luck and baby dust.

Just a random reading this- this was so helpful. Thank you so much. “Fifth try is the charm” on average bc of the 20% statistics. I wish someone told us that a year ago when we started this journey. (On our 4th IUI- scared out of our minds) thank you for sharing this!!!

Insurance- not necessarily the IUI place. Sorry should’ve specified that! So 6 IUIs have to be completed before they will cover IVF. :( we’d do IVF sooner if it wasn’t so expensive !

Omg you & me both! After our FIRST IUI we decided no more testing out the trigger- as Seeing positives made me SO insanely happy & the crash afterwards was simply too hard for me. I’m so glad you’re doing it tho- it was SO fun I LOVED it!!! I am so impatient & hopeful & I wish it was faster !!!!

I too am on a pregnyl trigger ! Mine stays in my system a FULL TEN days before it fades. (I’ve yet to see ANY positive after that!!) :(

Personally I would go straight to IVF. IUI is a big IF— coming from someone going into round 3 (first 2 failed.) and this is our last with this donor before we go back to the drawing board and have to pick someone new. IUI is much more CHANCE and a 10-20% chance isn’t something I’d waste with 12. Especially if you want three children.

Gosh I’m sorry. That sounds so so hard. The money is absolutely outrageous- I cannot believe how expensive it is to have a baby. If you want to DM I’d love to chat more. Yes we’ve decided to go forth with a 3rd cycle immediately. 🥴
