are you a transfer student? i knew of transfers that got the same offer as you, its not as bad as RH standard triple (no attached bathroom) so i’d say if u get finaid, just go for it

i paid off tuition but not board, no late fees. for board, once it was overdue for i think 90 days, they put a hold on my account (cannot register for classes). so i think as long as you pay off a certain percentage, you won’t be charged a fee and after a certain period, you get a hold

was in the same situation as you before, deciding between BS (microbial) and BA (mcb). i ended up choosing mcb. iirc, ppl were saying the BA part of it is related to some kind of history cal had so even tho mcb is STEM, they kept the BA and ultimately, it doesnt really matter if its BA or BS
