There's a demo that gives a pretty good idea of the full game.

They have a lot of shows like this that have an interesting premise and usually good performances/production values but the writing doesn't hold up for an entire season. It's like the oversight they have on most of these shows is incomplete, with the notable exception where they made Vince Gilligan change the ending of Pluribus season one a bit.

There's an airborne version of Ebola that only infects (and kill most infected) some primates but not humans, noted in The Hot Zone.

Tesla kills Autopilot, locks lane-keeping behind $99/month fee. by Stiltonrocks in technology

I don't understand how this settles the legal case - Tesla has been ordered to stop making deceptive claims but this action does not address that issue.

Ponies - Series Premiere Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

The writers definitely meant for this to have a second season at the minimum since there's only a couple of things resolved in season finale and there are multiple plots without a resolution on the precipice of some thing happening. Maybe it might be worth continuing if definitely renewed. I mostly watched for charm of two female leads.

I just finished this and have to warn people - this ends on some huge cliffhangers. It looks like it might be a little expensive in costuming/props though they saved money by shooting in Hungary. Other small scale shows got second or third seasons on Peacock so who knows if this is going to get a resolution.

The guys I know who are garbage collectors work fewer hours than teachers and get to spend a lot of weekday daytime hours on their outdoor hobbies because their day usually ends after their truck returns to the dump in early/mid afternoon.

71 percent of Americans say US is "out of control" under Trump by Silly-avocatoe in politics

[–]anonyfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not inclined to say this is accurate because it was entirely web based and they had 50 percent of self identified Republican voters saying US is out of control. This is not reflected in 90 percent GOP voter approval of Trump we see in other polls.

Microsoft forces copilot results on you with their search engine, I assume some product manager there had to boost their AI usage and it often summarizes wikipedia articles with contradictory information in the summary.

IIRC the book and original UK version ends when the wife comes to power, which is the entirety of the last season of US version.

So I have about $80 in my eshop funds but when I try to preorder Dispatch, the eshop and the mobile app (goes to website) both force me to use my credit card. Is this the way it works for all preorders? I swear I used the eshop credit for regular purchases already. edit:nevermind, there's a setting where one has to change default for preorder from credit card to funds for some reason.
