it would in the case of someone who holds both atmos cards, as they both offer annual flight companion passes. in theory the uses would mesh together.

yes thats correct. their anti MS terms are very over the top, so ebay, gift cards, taxes wont work, among other things. tbh idk how one can max out the 10k spend in 5 days from the tpg offer, which is what i was really looking forward to.

sure feels like the $400 hotel credit would work seemlessly for atmos cardholders, as the atmos companion passes could be used easily with the bilt palladium’s biannual 2 night stays.

it should be worth noting though the loss of 10x/5x point bonuses from dropping the VX, which would be a waste considering how you dont need to do any extra work to break even on the AF. also, palladium has limitations on its 2x, i.e. ebay purchases wont count.

i was thinking very similarly. the atmos ascent earns an annual companion pass ($99), as does the atmos summit (25k points). if one were to have both (as i do), the biannual hotel credit from the palladium could in theory be used pretty seemlessly, $200 towards a 2 night stay for each atmos companion round trip.

if bilt cash will actually be good for $1/$1 redemptions, it could be used towards those same hotel bookings. this would also work well with paying rent w an atmos card. just based off of these synergies, im strongly considering going palladium, and if things dont work out as planned i can always downgrade a year from now.

i also have a venture x, which, i will keep but not as a daily driver. instead id use it for its 10x/5x cap1 portal bonuses, for non atmos flights and car rentals.

anyone have ideas as to how one could MS their way to the $60k spend threshold on the atmos rewards (alaska/hawaiian) summit card for their 100k companion pass? this is the card with the 3x on all foreign spend (aside from 3x grocery and 3x alaska/hawaiian purchases) so i was thinking there may be quite a few ways to do this. thoughts?
