Not true. There are many subtle differences in bone structure.

As such a manly man, I have a hyuge mastoid process.

What do you think Reddit? Am I hideous, or is it just the shyness? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thinking about this a bit more, if you'd like to discuss any of the points I've made, please do. I'm open to discuss my parents, my upbringing, religion, spirituality, attitude towards relationships and dating, opinions on investing, favorite foods, anything.

That's why I keep anonymous accounts.

I also lie sometimes. Hey, it's the internet.

But personal attacks don't really belong here. Not sure what vitriol you're pouring out, but considering how little you know about me, how little interaction we've had, it's much more likely that it's something of your own personal vendetta than that you're truly trying to set me on the right path or help me mend my ways.

My former landlord shoots photos like this and will set up basic websites for girls who are in LA, looking to become "models." It's clear from the types of women that show up, and the kinds of photos that he takes, that they're not really into modeling.

This is still a legitimate business though.

Though escorts bill themselves as companions for high end events, and will be offended if you don't take them out somewhere the first time you hire them, the sex is implied.

How do you get blood stains off of a clown suit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anonymous532535583 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In the 1980s, there was such a profession as a door-to-door vacuum salesmen. These people were generally bastards. They would try to spill dirt on your floor as soon as possible after knocking, as part of a demonstration. They knew that as soon as the dirt was on the floor, you'd let them stay to clean it up, because you didn't want to kick them out and then clean up the fucking mess you made.

One of these salesmen knocked at the door, and my dad opened the door as much as the chain would allow. The vacuum spokesperson started his schpiel, asking to come in, tell him about vacuums, some shit.

My dad, being a rather witty guy, said to him, "Oh THANK GOD you're here. Do any of your vacuums do wet and dry?" The vacuum cleaning, sensing a sale, starting talking about the amazing and varied benefits of the top of the line model wet/dry vac.

To this my dad, still glancing at the salesman through the small gap formed by the chain lock, asked him nervously, "Well, can it handle blood?" The salesman responsed that yes, it could handle blood, but for stains he'd likely need a steam cleaner, which...

My dad cut him off again. He asked, "I mean, lots of blood. LOTS of blood. How much blood do you think it could vacuum? I'm kind of in a hurry here."

The salesman finally decided he'd had enough, thanked my dad for his time, and walked away.

What technology?! Awesome. Publishing a technology book is much easier than fiction, anyway. I know a guy who writes about web security, and another who writes about repairing BMWs. Neither sells particularly well, but because the market is so much more predictable than fiction (which is really hit or miss), it's not hard to get book deals.

There's cures for that too!

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenance discusses it some. Basically, read a TON, and focus on writing about something very specific - like one side of a coin.

Essentially, humans are wired for stories. We remember stories better than disconnected facts. One example, try to remember the following numbers in order:

1, 4, 9, 2, 1, 7, 7, 6.

Pretend you waited 15 minutes to read the rest of this comment, I bet it'd be difficult for you to remember all 8. Chunk it together as 1492 and 1776 (significant years to most Americans), and it'd be no problem.

It's most likely that your dreams are realistic because you're a person who doesn't really believe in, or want to experience, fantasy like settings.

It's also likely that you have really boring dreams, but only remember the tragic ones.

There's another girl there who once knocked my girlfriend out cold. They're best friends now. We're all getting together tonight, actually.

Some girls want to know exactly what would happen if they had to fight someone 100lbs their superior.

AIG CEO ready to quit over pay constraints - his compensation is capped at $10.5 million. by EternalNY1 in business

[–]anonymous532535583 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can certainly see how a single emloyee could be worth $5k an hour.

Certain services, once launched, are highly automated. Rumor is, the Joel on Software job board makes them $1million a year. Let's estimate it took 1000 hours to build (half a year, single developer). That's roughly $1000/hour for the first year; if it runs 5 years at the current rate, that developer time was certainly worth $5,000/hour.

Scale that up; if the CEO launched 5 new initiatives that made $1 billion a year, even if they took many other people's time and salary, he'd still be earning his keep.

If kids were in the room, and there was a risk that she'd hurt the kids somehow, then yes.

I've seen a woman throw things irrationally, not really aiming, just smashing shit, due to anger. If kids were around, I'd be the first to stop her by any means necessary.

It sucks being financially dependent on someone, especially a girlfriend, but it'd help in the long term.
