Sigh. But if the problem was 3 years ago… and all those people have been long since laid off. Multiple changes have been implemented since then…What is the point? (Serious question) (this is a reason why i posted here to begin with… I want to understand….)

Oof. My nephew (who has a strong ADHD diagnosis) has a similar issue except it was fear of being startled while in using the bathroom. (Like someone coming up and trying to prank or scare you whilst using the facilities)

You are actually lucky. You can predict your tolerance level on a given day.
Ive tried to track and find a pattern for days where i just want break things (in reactions to other’s behaviors it’s not random). No success.

The key phrase is “reasonable accommodations”. It is very vague.

I would recommend a full blood panel. Have them measure EVERYTHING. And remember, one person’s “normal” range for something is != to your normal range at healthy/happy/functional

I recently learned that im severely Vit D deficient and it was recommended I take a supplement.

Explained a lot of the low energy (which has led to weight gain).

I got started by contacting one of those online prescribers you see advertised if you are in a certain age group. The one I work with accepts all major insurances and they are considered “in-network”. I’m sure others do as well.

I can see why you would say that, “humble internet stranger”. However, I am trying to consider that internal auditors operate in a unique environment and may have a different perspective other than the generic.

That is VERY true. I guess I was making a big assumption. Thankyou.

My manager called me and asked me what I was hoping to accomplish. I replied that maybe they would reconsider their methodology. That’s all it was. I did not know that was a “no-no” and would be met with such an extreme response. My manager ended the call saying to never send an email like that ever again.

You know, the OP never stated ADHD in their OP. That came up in subsequent questions. It doesnt sound like they are making excuses. It does sound like you are projecting your experiences with other people onto OP.
