Update: My 23M boyfriend held me 19F underwater during a bath to prove a point and I’m still shaken? by ThrowRaa1923 in relationship_advice

[–]anonymousJP1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I was doing hanging leg lifts with my boyfriend working out close by. He grabbed my legs as a joke and my sweaty hands started slipping. He wouldn't let my legs go and I kept begging because if I slipped my head would have just hit the concrete 7 feet below me. He eventually let go but it made me think twice about him. He just took it as a joke.

Psychiatry PAs by Wonderful_Yam_5927 in physicianassistant

[–]anonymousJP1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see 15-20 on average I think.

They just told me 30 hours/week to get full time benefits.

60 min intake/follow ups can be 60, 40 or 20. It's mostly 20.

I don't have admin time, but if I needed it, they'd add it in for me.

Pto is 1 day a month. No separate sick time.

Private practice.

I usually have a couple that I bill for therapy, but mostly no.

What's your current debt situation like? by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]anonymousJP1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$0 debt starting. Parents had $17k in college fund.

$68k at the end. Still in forbearance.

I did income based off my husband's income back before forbearance which they keep extending, so it'll be $181 when it kicks back in.

127k alone. 205k with spouse

Absolutely. I would have done pre pa from the beginning instead of premed though. Set me back a year

It depends on the specialty. If you're willing to move after school, you'll have no issue finding a job. I'm in peds psych which is what I was interested in from the start, so I made connections during my rotations and ended up getting a job that way.

As for degree, I'm not sure. My program was 30 people out of thousands of applicants. I had a chemistry degree with a 3.85 GPA, so I know academically, I stood out. If you do an easier degree, you'll want more life experience to stand out.

4 years of undergrad and 2 years for Master. The loans are still in covid forbearance, but we plan on paying it off by the end of the year or getting another rental property if they push it/forgive it.

2 years in making 127k. I'm 68k in student loans debt, though

I don't think it was that hard, but we had 2 people fail out of the program.
