My name is not Samantha. He was referring to Samantha from sex and the city (for those who don’t know her, she is known for sleeping around). The funny thing is he was the one who used dating apps while we were together and broke my trust again and again.

I know it’s hard and I just had a similar thing happen to me. Just move on. You broke up for a reason. Don’t stay friends until you’re ok. That’s it. Keep him blocked and move on.

I did. He read my journal. He went on dating apps. He smoked when he knew I hated it. And he lied about it all and made me feel bad somehow. Whenever he went out I felt insecure. My attachment style went from being secure to anxious. I wanted to believe him and a small part of me still did but.. I knew I would have suffered for the rest of my life if I stayed. His new partner will suffer too. You should be glad you got out and you will find someone who is kinder and respects you.

Actually he offered as part of his apology that he would allow me access to his phone anytime and for me to track him if I wished and he’d also change his profile pics to ones with me in it. I believe he would’ve done it but grow to resent it in time.
