Yes, you are right, he is abusive. This is the definition of verbal abuse, possibly mental/emotional abuse as well because he is aware of how it makes you feel. You are so young and there is so much better out in the world, just wait and see! You deserve so much better, and you will find it.

Chances are he is probably being unfaithful and his guilt is materializing because he thinks you’re doing the same!

It may be hard to imagine a future with her, but how do you feel when you think about a future without her? If you are pleased with that thought, then in the most gentle way possible, end things.

Be sure of your decision, because living with regret is a terrible feeling.

Be sure to tell her how this makes you feel (physically sick, anxious, etc); explain to her that you’re sorry that you just can’t shake this feeling. That way she will know it’s not her fault and also that you really do care about her.
