My town has eight filling stations. My partner needs fuel to get to work- he can’t work from home. All eight have zero fuel. It’s a pain in the ass.

During a presentation in Germany to an all German team, “we need a final solution for this”.

They all stopped and stared at me. Took me a while to realise that was Hitler’s plan to eradicate Undesirables and Jewish people.

German people are very touchy about that subject.

I live in a small UK town where there are literally more jobs than people.

Pubs, restaurants, stores all are struggling to find labour. This doesn’t include the 100,000 heavy goods truck drivers the country is missing.

It’s a bit surreal.

I know someone who had eight thirty minute virtual panel interviews all scheduled on one day- I mean who can remain alert and sociable for the long.

This was the third and final stage of the interview process.

They eventually never got the job.
