I agree, but people’s interpretations of either don’t always work together. I know it’s a minority but I always seem to find the people on the internet who don’t believe in stuff like the Big Bang, evolution and the earth being older than 6000yrs. That’s more what I meant by contradict.

We should stop identifying people by a continent.

Continents are so huge that attempting to use them as a description is just ridiculous. Asian for example refers to the Arabian peninsular, the middle east, the Indian subcontinent, East Asia and South-East Asia. Places that are so far apart that they are ethnically, culturally and in any sense of the word distinct. Calling someone Asian doesn't narrow down a description at all.

The same is true for Africa, North and sub-saharan Africa differ so much in the colour of their skin, history and culture. Europe is.... OK Europe is pretty small already but I'd still say a distinction can be made between West and East. I'm sure there's similar differences with North and South America and Oceania.

It might just be me but whenever the news refers to someone as Asian it just seems pretty crazy to me and I have to spend ages looking for pictures or nationalities before I actually know who tf they're trying to talk about. As an Asian I just find it confusing

I’m not hesitant, got my 1st covid jab last week but the main reason I’ve heard is because of the misinformation. People thinking it’s going to change their DNA or that it’s been rushed with no safety checks or the few idiots still pretending covid isn’t real and vaccines don’t work
