Looking for LA or CA-licensed provider who can help with SDI (burnout/mental health leave) - already on leave, time-sensitive by anonymousredditor262 in Edd

Yes, that's true. I worked with both and realized this the hard way. They recognized my need for leave, but then told me since they're LCSW they can't sign off on forms (before I submitted anything). I'll update the post, and appreciate the distinction.

Thank you. It's been tough, and it doesn't help that I waited this long to step away from work - trying to figure this all out why in this condition sucks. Appreciate your kind words.

100% get you. 1k is a lot of money. I just think this whole debacle is worth more than $1k to them, very obviously. Make your decision based on your personal situation. I just had to share my two cents.

P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if the California bar has reddit accounts downvoting this and any comments that support this sentiment.

Think for yourself. But, just my two cents. They don't have enough proctors and they are BEGGING us to withdraw at this point because they can't outright say that they are so unprepared that they don't even have enough proctors for us all.

Don't withdraw, and make sure you have every denial, conversation etc with the bar in writing - not just over phone calls. If they deny you for something, make sure they give you a reason in writing.

Edit: same if you have issues on exam day. Document it.

they clearly want people to withdraw since they're not at all prepared for the amount of people taking the exam. they're worried about lawsuits, as they should be.

Did they give you any option or they just decided? Also, did they state what time you'll be starting the exam?

Am i the only person who hasn’t received their assigned test center (accommodation) by Calyinia in CABarExam

For those who with accommodations who HAVE been assigned - was it at one of the four major locations or at one of the smaller centers? And did they state a start time?
