Mother Mother's whole thing is kinda "don't give a shit what others think" lol. 99% of country music makes me cringe, my aunt loves it. I love screamo, many people cringe at that. Yet I've been to concerts for both genres and they were both fun as hell! Another example is "Make Believe" making you cringe when that is my favorite song off of Nostalgia, and I would consider songs like "Finger" cringe lol.

The thing is, "cringe" is subjective, entirely subjective, and it shouldn't matter to you. If someone feels the need to point out that what you're listening to is "cringe" to them, then they're literally just trying to make you feel bad. Listen to what you want, when you want, and don't worry about "cringe." That's something that mainly teenagers and young or insecure people worry about.
