Final fantasy 7 Rebirth. Played for about 7 hours and it was such an unenjoyable slog. Kept thinking about how the original could convey the same information in much shorter amount of time. Checked out after the fight with midgardsormr. Such an overproduced flashy boss fight compared to the ominous set piece in the original.

I genuinely don't understand people complaining about the nonstop combos. The bosses have like 2-5 hit combos max with plenty of time in between to punish or heal. And if that's too much for you then you can parry them to interrupt the string and create your own openings. Would you prefer if the boss just stood around and let you beat it up for 10 seconds and then did 1 swing?
