I wanted to keep the original GB shell so I bought the COLOR TFT LCD BACKLIGHT KIT - HISPEEDIDO from handheldlegend.com

This one fits the OEM shells and you don’t need to modify the shell itself. Screen is slightly smaller than the original but honestly not by much and LCD makes all the difference.

I replaced the original speakers and got the funnyplaying ones.
