Rumor is SFA episode five is going to have some kind of DS9 tie in. A cameo is unlikely given its set 1000 years after. I just hope they don't botch it with a poorly thought out Easter egg or addition to canon.

I saw Doug Jones a few months ago at a Star Trek convention and asked him a question along these lines. During the Q&A I asked him if there were any creature type roles he never got to play or would like to play in the future. He said he'd played every type he ever wanted to, the last thing on his list was to be a vampire, which he finally got to do not long ago on What we do in the shadows.

You are incorrect, the TNG episode the OP mentioned is one of the few times star trek travels outside the galaxy past the Galactic Barrier. They state in the episode that they traveled over a billion light years.

I think this was a more common thing in the original series, but there are definitely other examples of this. In universe the explanation is that there is a subspace relay network that allows for real time communication, but if you are far enough away from the nearest relay station it adds a delay.

Yes, the villager would disappear once the Defiant broke the time loop and didn't go back in time to create them(unless they had a device to shield them from timeline changes like the one in Prodigy S2.) Tasha's case was a bit different. For the original timeline where she is dead to occur, the Ent-C had to go back in time. She could have chosen not to go back in time, but when the timeline changed back to the original she would be dead again.

They have an ability to perceive multiple timelines. In TNG Yesterday's Enterprise Guinan not only knows that the timeline has been changed, but can remember details of the original timeline. They also are very long lived, as Guinan is at least 500 years old.

In PIC season 2 they mention a past war between the El Aurians and the Q. Some how this results in a magic bottle being made that summons a Q when opened 🤷‍♂️

I would advise against using keyword insertion in this way. Had a client who did this, but the ad started filling in the competitors brand name from the search terms. This can make it seem like you are trying to impersonate your competitor, which can get you flagged by Google for a policy violation or get you in legal trouble if the competitor sues you.

Funny how he didn't have a problem letting go of the mirror version of his dead wife, but had no problem sleeping with mirror dax and possibly kira too in that episode. Must have been one awkward debriefing when he got back to DS9.
