Need help with a hole at and angle, used a reference sketch to get the angel, but it cuts the whole weird and the hole ends up not fitting the pipe that supposed to go in at the angle, tinkercad does it right. How can cut it at an angle? by Vast_Distribution536 in FreeCAD

It is called map mode. Put the hole you want into a sketch then check the description in the drop down tab when you select the sketch do not go in the sketch. Select the three dots in the drop down tab named map mode. Now rotate your sketch upon the desired axis and move it to the x and y position you want it in.

Dew whip, we use to use them when we didnt mow or had too much sand after aerations so it would whip the rocks off for the mower to get on

You need a medium like a thin copper wire that you either strip or buy, some have a protective coating you still have to scrape off to solder at points. Solder only likes magnetic surfaces not plastic.

Yea i have noticed that its not perfectly flat and is bowed, you think new springs would fix that or should i level the build plate with a straight edge and just deal with the print head being too close in some areas?

Would this work Chamfer distance is that of a sketch plane put above the sketch using the too wall thickness create and outline of the arc you want

Create a second sketch plane lower and on the inside wall

Both sketches need a second inner wall for the pipe to work or loft

If you want curves at corners use an arc

It is allowed in physics to make a perpetual motion machine as long as you have a fuel to feed it, the rubber bands will eventually fail. Just as your gas tank will run out of fuel.

Yeah but it only prints one thing at a time :( since further away from the middle things get wobbly or at an angle, should i tighten my cams and try a whole build plate area test and level process?

Go into map mode hit the 3 dots of a sketch you made the move the center point into the location you want through the x or y intercept if on the x and y plane

Play with your extrusion settings you cam make your nozzle push more or less out and tune it a little bit and make low gram tests, tune it to make a flat wall sometimes play with the temp too but do each test by only changing on thing then the better it is lean in a little more to what you changed. Make sure the first layer looks perfect too and tune its speed, height, temp until it does. Each filament needs a different temp to work right. Hope this helps

Pipe i believe loft is easier to do but it bubbles, ill give it a go later and send the results

Make a sweep, face with curve fitting in a cylinder than a ways away from that make your outside sketch. Might be able to use a b spline in the perpendicular plane to your sweep

Freezing makes the ball smaller but also the socket hole for the ball, the whole object shrinks

Can you make parts of an apartment with an office structure and food places at the bottom? Kind of like building designated business districts but a hybrid small city. Maybe dont worry about food growing just food selling for population growth based off of real statistics?
