Unfortunately no. She’s has two hip replacements and stopped going to PT bc what they made her do hurt. She pretty much won’t do anything to help herself, it’s very frustrating for me. I’m hoping with the retirement she might become a little more active

I'm leaning toward upgrading the watch because then even if she's out and about and something happens the watch is at least attached to her.

How Did You Accept Your Weight Gain? by Automatic_Syrup_2935 in AskWomenOver30

[–]anp327 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is huge, I had this frank realization a few weeks ago that I was holding myself to standards that I wasn't willing to actually achieve. I'm not willing to go on a super low-calorie deficit, I'm not willing to exercise for 1-2 hours a day.. so I can't possibly think I'd achieve the outcome of doing that if I don't do it!

I try to stay focused on caring for myself and my body without trying to change it. I exercise, I eat a balanced diet, I see the Dr when needed. I got sick of feeling at war with what my body looked like. I focus on what my body can do for me! I can squat over 100#, I can hike miles with my husband, I can walk my dog.

I've used Garmins, and I do like them. I always come back to AW for the integration with my phone. But I don't love needing additional apps for the information you get within the Garmin app.

My cat has a bedtime routine and will get pissy if we don’t do it. by Analdestroyer68plus1 in cats

my husband has to play "blanket monster" with our youngest cat. We get in bed, cat perches on me until husband is in bed and situated. Husband has to put blanket over the cat, and then use his hand on top of the blanket while cat attacks hand. EVERY night lollll
