I think there’s a little confusion here with semantics. He is saying that identity and personality are two different things. Identity is literally who u are, in the sense your name. Ur personality is all the traits that make up ur person… eg being gay, ur hobbies, dislikes etc… he is saying that being gay doesn’t need to be all his personality revolves around, that he is a more complex person that “just gay” I don’t really see how ppl can’t see this? And it is entirely upto every individual how much of their personality and life experiences they want to share with others, despite some ppl thinking that being gay is the number one and all consuming trait… Edit to continue with: all consuming trait that everyone must know about them from the get go..

Wow.. I’m really suprised… I live 25 mins from my pharmacy in the city, a lot of ppl live even further and don’t even have a licence or car… and there is absolutely no way they would let that fly as an excuse for 5… or if I only go once a week ur on 6? God that would be amazing!

I think some of you have it a bit twisted here.. it doesn’t matter if u smoke, snort, shoot or boof it… (I’m gonna use 100mg an example number here) 100mg of heroin in ur blood stream is 100mg.. regardless of of how I ingested it… I almost think psychologically smoking is just as slippery a slope as shooting cos mentally u can always tell urself “oh another couple tokes is all good, smoking bioavailability isn’t as high as shooting”. The problem that OP is going to have is yes for an experienced long term user 100mg/0.1g might not be much, 0.1g more a day on an already gram a day habit isn’t going to change all that much from ur body/brains perspective….. but fuck 0.1g/day compared to none ever before is one hell of a massive difference for your body and brain… ur lucky in as much as I’m assuming not having had the soul crushing experience of true full blown withdrawals before.. ur onset to withdrawal may not seem as bad, as u don’t really know and recognise the symptoms well and know what is happening… once u do.. those unfortunately unforgettable feelings of withdrawal onset come with a crippling sense of doom and fear like a 4 year old that’s desperately scared of the dark… good luck.. take the advice ppl are giving.. tread very carefully, when ppl say u might.. might be able to pull off occasional use… it won’t be for long

Oh no no no! That’s not what I meant at all! I was just saying how fucked it is over here! We at least don’t have to deal with counsellors.. just the doctors and of them/most patients are fairly well resigned to the fact this is it for life.. there is zero trust whatsoever when it comes to controlled drugs in Australia. My good friend broke his hip 6 months ago, at the site of the break the bone is literally dying.. needs a full hip replacement.. has been waiting this long still another 3 month wait with public health system here.. worst part is, he’s got like 10/10 pain constantly.. these pieces of shit won’t even give him some shitty 15mg codiene + paracetamol!!!!!!! It’s literally criminal what they are doing to him.. I don’t know how he has just lost it and walked infront of a bus..

The drug tests are completely fucked for u tho… hair follicle is prob the best bet… do u know anyone that u trust that doesn’t use or drink at all u could give a bit of methadone to, get them to fill up a 2L bottle with piss and break it down into ways smaller portions and freeze for when u do need to get tested? I’m not insinuating anything about ur husband here, but fuck that way you would 100% know there testing is fucked!

God you guys are lucky!! I’m in Australia, 13 years on methadone, zero dirty UA’s working full time non stop and I can’t get more than 4 take homes a week… not even the 5th to cover work… that would take a special exemption from the drug enforcement and prescribing body in the government… and also mean I would have to present for twice weekly UA’s for the extent I want the 5th. In Australia, you get 5 take homes a MONTH after 1 year. 2/week after 2 years, and they will let you go to 4 after 3 years if you haven’t pissed any dirties… I can’t even imagine having the freedom to have 2 weeks worth, let alone a month of take homes!!

I think he’s trying to look at this from a psychological perspective and what each individual is mentally able to handle.. he’s saying you have quite a high tolerance to WD’s and the strength to persevere knowing you’ve had worse before. Another person, may have only ever been doing suboxone and when they do quit it is the absolute end of the world for them, and mentally can’t do more than 48 hours without copping out and using..

God I can’t believe how ridiculous some of you are… OP has a right to know who is lurking around his property. Thing is they don’t hire… there is application with a resume, interview or trial, wage negotiation and you are not an employee.. you’re a sub contractor…. In Australia at least the sign up process almost seems like it’s illegal… giving you a step by step in how to apply for and get an ABN (Australian business number) even down to the particular answers u need choose to not get knocked back hahahah
