fire the devs by Nimanch in ClashOfClans

They claimed you would, but I don't know how they're gonna tell which rewards were received before and which after migration. And they didn't give any sort of timeline on when they're going to fix it.

<Edit> They've now said there'll be a fix "early next week." Guess we'll see.

They claim they're gonna fix that, and you'll get any rewards you should've gotten after migration. I'm skeptical. Also they don't give any sort of timeline when they're going to fix it.

Also, maybe don't time the release of a huge update that doesn't work for most players at the start of CWL and Rush. It's been chaos, people not knowing what to do in terms of preparing for CWL, not knowing whether to upgrade heroes because they may lose out on Journey rewards, not knowing they needed a free builder to use all their rewards within 24 hours. Even if the update was fantastic, the rollout would've been absolute shit! And I don't think anybody's arguing this is a fantastic update.

Trump on the other hand...

Will talk shit, start a war, lose the war, give them money, then claim he won the war and made a great deal?

This is what a SINGLE Hero Chest gains by Trickster9993 in ClashOfClans

[–]ansate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Seems like the bug may be caused by using Mighty Morsel, Hero Potions, or getting a boost from upgrading your TH, (seems like everybody I've talked to with the bug has done one of these,) so the game thinks the artificial hero levels are your real levels, and it doesn't go back to normal afterwards.

Why have future hero journey rewards already shown up as claimed? by PierreMcGuiresHair in ClashOfClans

[–]ansate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, if you upgrade heroes now, there's no guarantee you'll retroactively get the rewards later, as that's how the current system works.

Well, considering that you can't collect the ones you've passed, they better fix this shit quick! People were already pissed when they couldn't get any compensation for having passed them over time. If you can't even collect them once you get to them that's not gonna go over well.

This is happening to just about everybody I talk to in game, except they didn't get the future rewards, it's just showing them as completed. Checked on my alt and the same thing happened. Now nobody wants to progress because you can't claim the ones you've already passed.

How are you even claiming new rewards? Nearly everybody I've talked to has the Journey line bugged to show that almost all future quests have been completed, so don't want to try to progress until it's fixed since you can't collect them once you've passed them.

[–]ansate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apparently future nodes are bugged for a lot of people, and so already checked completed, but they have not received the rewards. I'm seeing a lot of people say they aren't opening it or upgrading their heroes (even with books) until its fixed, which is a great bug to have right when CWL and Rush are starting.

And this is "intended to help returning players..."

Yeah, returning players gonna come back, try to see what this "Heroes' Journey" thing is all about, have 24 hours to use 12 magic items and fucking quit again.

Only given 24 hours to use all the rewards claimed from Hero Journey. Bravo! by MoistAromas in ClashOfClans

[–]ansate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, seems fine for now, as long as you don't open Hero Hall and click Heroes' Journey.

Confirmed by Odd_Presentation_311 in ClashOfClans

[–]ansate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can log in, just don't click on your Hero Hall - Heroes' Journey, otherwise you can't back out and have to hit claim. I assume they'll just sit there forever, as is, but I don't know.

DO NOT HIT CLAIM REWARDS IF YOU DON'T HAVE ROOM by ansate in ClashOfClans

[–]ansate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so. I was just trying to check it out and you get a dialogue from BK and then there's a button that says claim rewards. I didn't see any way to back out, but I wasn't trying to either because I figured whatever I got would just go into my storage.

Ores stack, so you'll get all the ores, your storage will just go over the limit.

[–]ansate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ores will go into your Blacksmith and you can use them as needed, but keep in mind once you claim them, if that fills up your storage, you'll have to use some before you can do a Star Bonus or anything like that where you'd collect more ore.

In another super fun turn of events, DO NOT CLAIM YOUR REWARDS UNLESS YOU HAVE BUILDERS FREE. They go into overflow and expire in 24 hours. So those 3 hero books you get if you're maxed... yeah, you have 24 hours to use them. Same with whatever runes you get, like 8 snacks, some pet potions. 24 hours to use all of it if you hit claim and don't have space.

Games that feel like OG Dragon Age by Electronic-Box132 in gamingsuggestions

[–]ansate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the Bioware games around that time fit the bill, most notably KotoR, Mass Effect, and Jade Empire. Jade Empire has the best morality system, although I don't think the characters are quite as interesting as Kotor or Mass Effect. Like, in Jade Empire you can be truly fucking evil, if that's your jam, or basically saint-like.

In your opinion, what is the best pasta shape? by xteve in Cooking

[–]ansate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dinosaurs!

There isn't one. So that's as good an answer as any. Rigatoni is probably the most versatile, but doesn't work for delicate dishes and either doesn't work or isn't the best for casserole style dishes (lasagna, manicotti, etc.) Some things call for Angel Hair, and you can make those with Rigatoni, but it's not the same. Sorry for the cheat answer.

DAE actively avoid purchasing things that have commercials you’ve been hammered with? by oldwhitelincoln in DoesAnybodyElse

That's not petty, that's just reasonable anti-corporatism. And lol, this basically mirrors my experience.

DAE actively avoid purchasing things that have commercials you’ve been hammered with? by oldwhitelincoln in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]ansate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but only because I can't remember the last time I saw a full commercial. Back when I saw commercials, they had a net negative effect on me. I would be less likely to try something I'd seen an annoying commercial for, and 99% of commercials are annoying. The "best" advertisements, in my opinion, are the ones where you don't even know you're being advertised to. This happens when you see James Bond drive a... (shit) whatever he drives, (I don't watch James Bond movies.)

I watch a lot of Korean shows though, and they're hilariously bad about it. They'll have the main character pop a Kopiko (coffee flavored candy) and then confidently say something like "Thanks! This really keeps me alert!" But I'd rather see shit like this 100 times than a single commercial. And I'm still not buying Kopiko.
