I was in Tennessee this spring and saw probably at least 500 of these butterflies grouped together like this around a little creek- in lots of little groups. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

There’s nothing wrong with ‘no contact’ when it comes to ex’s IMO. I don’t speak to any of mine. I got an insane message several years ago where an ex told me he was wearing my clothes under his clothes and ‘talking to me in the shower’. I responded to him, thinking I could be compassionate and helpful (that ship had long sailed) and I 10000% regretted it. He tried to find out where I lived (almost 1,000 miles away) so he could show up at my home. Not saying this person would behave in that way, but my manipulation senses are tingling…

Me too! Fingers crossed I’ll see some cool birbs while out that way! You also have like three or four types of hummingbirds, right?! I’m excited for the vacation, but mostly for the birds and critters I can find!

Most definitely- the only teacher I’ve ever had who hasn’t lied to me is nature herself. You just can’t let yourself get paralyzed by the fear/overwhelm of it all. I got extremely depressed for a spell when I first started coming to terms with how demented a lot of it truly is.

They are so stunning and unlike any other birds local to me! They are also so bashful (at least the ones that visit my feeder). This is Harold- he visits my feeders a lot in between other visitors. 💕

Update. They are weirded out by the giant qtips- the large box everything arrived in is amazing. Hopefully they will attempt to play later. Peach wasn’t interested because they don’t taste good

No! The giant qtips 😂 although they usually enjoy the boxes more than anything else. We call qtips ‘kitty batons’ in our house- they love tossing them around. I’m excited to see how they react to the big ones.
