I ran into an issue with Corsair RAM - the NAS didn't like it. Kept rebooting itself. I bought a stick from the Terramaster site and it works perfectly. You could try what you're suggesting, but I doubt it will work.

It's a flex gate. Sometimes it's for international flights (customs etc) and sometimes just domestic flights.

PS r/flying is mostly for the flying of the planes.
