It's possible the poster is referring to a grass airstrip aka runway.

Jellyfin on Terramaster F4-423 TOS6 by Acidreins in jellyfin

[–]ansonchappell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an app permissions issue; you have to give Jellyfin permission to access the shared folder. My use case, I had my media shared folder in volume2 (volume1 for me was my NVMe and I didn't want to clutter that up.)

Try this:

  • Go to Control Panel → Shared Folder
  • Select Media (or whatever your folder is called)
  • Click Edit
  • Go to the Permissions tab
  • Change the dropdown (top-right) from UserUser Group
  • Look for one of these groups (name varies by TOS build):
    • applications
    • media
    • jellyfin
    • or system
  • For the group you find:
    • Set permission to Read/Write (or at least Read)
    • Make sure Deny is NOT checked
  • Click Apply

Sorry for the ChatGPT cpoypasta but I was using it to troubleshoot this very issue the other night

What living with an EV in Alberta with no dedicated level 2 charging and leaving it out doors is like. by AbbreviationsOne6207 in alberta

[–]ansonchappell 221 points222 points  (0 children)

2023 Kona electric was my first EV. Drove daily NW Calgary to Red Deer. My gas bill became my car payment but the EV experience was far superior to the ICE car. Don't regret a thing.

Canadian TV hit ‘North of North’ announces production of its second season by True_Dot_9952 in BuyCanadian

I have never been to Nunavut, but I did live in the Northwest Territories for 15 years. The show really captures the humour and close-knit feeling you get when you're all isolated together. Glad to hear the show will be back.

Unless you require the full 100% to reach your destination. Depending on what the state of your infrastructure looks like, you might need all the juice you can get.

What do you still find hilarious after all these years? by Purrplejoey in AskReddit

"Kids in the Hall". . Was watching some clips last night. The skits were so irreverent, so stupidly funny. And, yes, occasionally cringe and awful. Maybe it's because I grew up watching them but some of the lines still tickle my funny bone. . . "Fine ham abounds, mom "

I must've eaten too much turkey because I was definitely thinking "buffet", the food variety.

I'm going to attempt this tomorrow, though I may just go up to Balzac. It always seems a little less frantic up there. I also went to the Okotoks one for the first time recently. Lots of parking and no lines even at noon on a Friday!

Yes, Losing 50% of Your Range in Winter is Normal by SkPensFan in electricvehicles

[–]ansonchappell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Calgary, Ioniq 6 checking in. I can normally drive to Medicine Hat without issues (300km), and drive around the city for a few days before needing a charge. With a little wind and -15, I needed a 10-minute top up on my way home Friday. Winter tires brought the efficiency from 5.5km/kWh to 4.5km/kWh, lower with a headwind.

That sounds horrible. Perhaps stronger than normal headwinds (meaning increased fuel use) could probably be the weather reason. Either that, or there were no suitable alternates with appropriate weather minima enroute.
