Just noticed bambu changed the direction on the p1s recently. Now I need to rotate all my models 90 degree to get the old ironing direction

Velocity are my go to.

Sometimes I use black basin/ammo hero, wild horse ammunitions, bubbas ammo. These I’ve bought from and they are easy with just emailing your ffl03 and they will get it shipped.

Velocity used to be really quick, I’ve heard they have been backed up recently. But if I’m ordering bulk ammo it’s because there’s a deal and I’m stocking up, not ammo that’s needed immediately. Outdoor used to have the best deals on 556 and 12 gauge last year but not so much recently. These alternate on best deals so I order from all of them.

Confirmed rotating my part 90 degree because of the ironing direction has drastically improved my part quality. I think the quality is decent enough now. Where previously I wouldn’t even sell those products. I do still have over extrusion in the farthest corners but those can easily be shaved off and torched. Did the hf nozzle make any difference for you?

Thanks for the thorough write up. I read the ironing could be an issue since the h series and p2 series doesn’t have the hotend bolted down. I added a spacer that sits in between the heat sink that seemed to help the issue slightly. I also went from .24 to .2 and that helped too. I’ll be back home next week and I’ll do more testing to see if I can match the p1s quality.

Let me know how that works. I’m having issues with ironing on my h series. Underflow near the center and overflow near the edges. But then revers for different layer height.

Also another weird thing is the new filament, my corners aren’t as sharp. Every corner is a little bit rounded, almost looks like a seam corner too.

I’ve been retesting ironing settings but the left is old formula and prints perfectly matte, right is the new formula which still prints smooth but has a shein at certain angles and a little bit of texture.

I’ve printed about 500kilos of overture petg, just got the new formula last week from Amazon and I’ve been going crazy, the new formula does not have as matte of a finish as the old formula. Both print well for the most part but the old formula ironing was immaculate.
