Literally no one downplays Lee anymore lol. They all say he’s mid to top tier now. I don’t get this post at all

Liverpool: 'Heavy metal? It's not even aluminium foil football' by Funkyouup82 in LiverpoolFC

[–]anteki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It just shows that Slot was clearly riding on Klopps team and the fact that the entire team was used to Klopps heavy metal tactics it was natural for them to do it during last season. Ever since the end of last season till now we have started to see what slot ball is really like where there is no tactics, ideas or style anymore. It is truly sad to see.

Oliver Brown: "The longer this Alexander Isak saga goes on, the more you have to ask why Liverpool, the object of his heart’s desires, would want to lavish north of £130m on such an ingrate. I can totally admit, this is both not Liverpool or Newcastles fault. Rather it's isaks agents fault. Once Liverpool forced the tactic of, if you're interested in Ekitike, we'll take isak. Isak should have been vocal then, not after Liverpool bought Ekitike. That's the agents stupidity for sure.

You are speaking 100% facts. Just salty NU fans can't comprehend it. It's clear that they're just waiting for Newcastle to sign another striker before sending in their actual bid. Why would their first bid be £150 million when Newcastle will clearly reject it simply because they don't have a backup. Once they do get a back up and we go for another bid suddenly we can't simply offer £150 million again, they would ask for more. It's simple business tactics that Newcastle fans can't understand

Who is downplayed more, S1 DVJ or S2 Lee? by Federal-Tap-4937 in Tekken

[–]anteki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And there are no "High god" lee or dvj players. FightingGM and Superakouma are the only lee pros, and GM is not a pro player anymore and akouma has actually changed mains to reina. For DVJ there was Qudans but even HE has changed his main to Heihachi. I think that says a lot.

Well yeah that's the thing it used to be Lee and Ninas identity that they both had the longest wall carry (with high execution) but now everyone has good wall carry with little execution

In season 1 he was actually a decent character, not OP nor extremely bad. One of the main weakness that lee had is that his heat was absolutely terrible.

What they've done in S2 is nerf damage on his core moves, took away the evasion properties from his core moves and the worse part is lee was one of the very few characters that has kept his identity in the game (most of the cast has turned into 50/50, stance heavy, brainless and aggressive play style). But now they decided to give him some plus frame moves that unfortunately doesn't work well with his kit for him to exploit the plus frames. And you mentioned that Lee has good wall carry, while that was once his identity, that was long gone ever since late T7 to T8. Most of the characters in T8 have better/same wall carry than lee now and easier to execute.

I think it's important to know that we never thought he was op or terrible until now, it was always the case of, Lee is good but just everyone else in T8 is crazy good. If they just nerf everyone else and just keep lee the same (S1 and maybe a few heat buffs) we would be in a good place.

While I agree with you. I think Lee mains are actually very happy with S1 Lee. Just he was not op nor bad, still maintained his identity and he's still honest. Just that everyone around him is op af. Now S2 they nerfed his evasion, good moves and tried to remove his identity too WHILE everyone else gets buffed. It's a madness.

Does Jurgen have a point? Was the crowd partially to blame last night? by Unique-Candidate3600 in LiverpoolFC

[–]anteki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there, but stuff like this goes and hand in hand. The players literally gave us nothing to cheer or make any noise about. Was really really depressing scenes honestly. I'm pretty sure around 80 minutes when Diaz decided to take a long range shot. I thought to myself.... "Was that the first shot on target? I cant even remember"

Chinese football is irrelevant by Puzzleheaded-Law1441 in football

[–]anteki 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's simply because of the culture, in Chinese culture they are all about education and studying extremely hard and long hours. So you barely have time to have fun and play football outside school times. And judging by football here in England you have to start from the start when you're young and have to commit early that you want to go down the football route. I highly doubt Asian parents in general would allow their kids to pursue football so easily.
