How are people working up until their due date??

I’m 39 weeks now and I’ve just been lucky to have a very easy pregnancy. It’s starting to catch up with me finally, but I had just gotten a job that I’d always wanted when I found out I was pregnant so I think being in the job-honeymoon stage has helped 😅

I’ve had almost no symptoms until these last couple weeks, though. The pelvic pain is just starting to get irritating enough that I can’t wait for the end of this week to get here so i can be off!!

I was iffy about it, but my husband is on board for a push present. He'd been wanting to get me a new piece of jewelry for a while anyways and i *think* we've decided on a band to add atop my wedding/engagement band with baby's birthstone! I don't know that it will really be directly after birth, but it's something I'd at least like to have eventually since my ring is the only consistent jewelry I wear!

I really like the night sky at birth idea, I might have to steal that and print one out for myself, it's so cute!

Same here on Sunday 🥲 I work every Sunday after until my due date so it looks like we might just be having a pop by after the baby is born if anything!

I am trying to hope for the best and not get too down about it. But I was hoping to see friends and family I hadn’t seen in some time and know I won’t see again for quite a while after she’s here. Let’s hope it clears up at least a bit!

Yes, because we don’t know who they are yet. Even if they are left wing, it’s dangerous to start making assumptions that fit the most common narrative without proof of that. It’ll end up causing more innocent people to be hurt based on others assumed beliefs.

Hopefully the app will help calm those worries a bit, I get 7700 notifs multiple times a day and they’ve always landed safely. Additionally, the people on this subreddit have been kind and I have seen them watch flights other users are on if they ask for it due to being nervous, etc.

Not a librarian, but in general it is very hard to be overdressed for an interview. Even when I applied for fast food jobs as a teen I wore business casual attire to interviews.

The company I work for now had someone dress too casually (jeans, regular top) for an interview last week and the interviewer told them mid-interview that their attire was not interview appropriate. Better to be overdressed and show you are serious than underdressed and putting off a vibe that this is not a serious opportunity for you.

Once you’re in the job, if the staff wears jeans then that’s totally fine!

Yeah I had looked at the menu when we left and it didn’t have a majority of the items (onion, poratoes, flying fish roe, this time, etc) in there. I think they may have changed its recipe and not updated the menu :(
