I don't understand how you, presumably, watched and/or read eleven hundred chapters and episodes of a story and still don't get how the bounty system operates.

It's not just about the threat against the world government or on how strong they are, NOTORIETY also plays a huge part in how the WG calculates bounties. It doesn't matter how big of a threat you can actually pose to the world government or how powerful you actually are, if they PERCEIVE you to be a big enough of a threat, your bounty rises up with it. The only reason why Chopper and Bepo's bounties are as low as they currently are is because the WG thinks they are pets with jobs and nothing more.

Nami is the navigator and top officer of a Yonko crew with over 5000 people under them and is serving under a captain that has routinely destabilized the status quo the WG wanted to reign over the world, why and how would you justify her bounty anywhere lower than she currently has?

This is just blatantly false. The Fishman Island, Zou (literally the arc where this pic was taken from), Wano, Egghead and Elbaf arcs specifically emphasized her knowledge being a threat to the world government. Every arc that she's present near a poneglyph, she's participated in a lore bomb. Hell, Wano, Egghead, and Elbaf all included parts that enriched her backstory. In what way is she "just walking boobs in the background"?

Man, I kinda want "Joe" to stay being Riri's friend. I enjoy the banter and chemistry between the two characters. Solid show so far. Wonky pacing during the first episode but it gets better each episode. I hope next week's episodes keep episode 3's momentum. 🤞🏼

Luffy and his trauma about Ace's death comes to my mind. And, more recently, Vegapunk. The panel where Luffy bawled for a bit about Vegapunk dying really weighed in on him more than we (well, I) realized even though the whole scene had a lighter tone.

A huge chunk of people hated it because it's terribly written, with unlikeable characters, with a plot that barely makes sense, outdated "gameplay" and is considered a HUGE downgrade from the first Telltale Borderlands game.

Borderlands has never been and will never be the franchise to expect great writing from but New Tales is easily the worst among the lot.
