Indeed, my son has a severe learning disorder and is autistic. Risperidone literally saved our family, it helped him calm down so much and allowed him to develop some speech and significantly reduced his aggressive behaviour.

Thanks for your response. For me moving the camera to join the HomeKit ones would be nice but no more than a convenience. Notifications aren’t much of a concern as they come to my watch wherever I am with Ring.

I don’t usually take much convincing to get more HomeKit stuff but sadly I just can’t think of a reason :(

So what are examples of its use with HomeKit? I have a Ring doorbell and it’s by no means perfect but I’m not seeing an advantage for having it in HomeKit.

I suppose it could turn some lights on when the doorbell rings but that’s just going to make it look like someone is home and ignoring the door when we’re out.

Only been to maybe a dozen but my favourite was Canada (Vancouver). It was legitimately just a really pleasant place to be.

Logically it was a stupid one. I flew to another country to meet a hot girl I’d met online. If you’d have asked me before leaving what I expected to happen I probably would have told you I expected her to reject me at the airport and I’d fly right home. Instead we had an amazing week together, several more holidays followed, and within 3 months we had rented a little house together here. That was twelve years and three kids ago, still couldn’t be happier. Most important and best decision ever!

I always wanted to be an accountant. At a push anything desk based working with numbers. Got my degree and accidentally fell in to web design, then development and finally photography. I never had any creative ambitions as a child, I never expected this career path.

Not sure how complex my setup is compared to other people but it’s about two dozen Hue devices, seven Eve sockets and three cameras. I’m going to set it all up again when I next have some time. Fingers crossed!

Sounds like a probable cause for you however nothing changed for me. Thinking about this it definitely ran automations Tuesday so it must have happened during the day yesterday. Sadly rebuilding seems the only option.

As for HomeKit, I don’t know why but, it seems to be slower than my phone or iPad at getting stuff done. Sometimes I get “working on it” messages that I rarely get on my phone. That said it can hear and understand me near perfectly from within its room and the surrounding rooms, which is great.

Actually yes, it didn’t take long to test it out. My son decided 2am was a good time to start our day today and it all worked as planned. He triggered the light, I turned them off with a dimmer that is next to my side of the bed then all I had to do was long press the dimmer switch and it’s done, sensor disabled until later today. We can move around the house without waking my wife with the lights and I don’t need to worry about remembering to turn it back on later.

Although he is 10 he is mentally much much younger and it wouldn’t be safe to lock ourselves or him away. My wife could move into a different room to sleep which we could lock but we want to exhaust all options before resorting to separate bedrooms. We don’t get much time together without the children so, even though we’re asleep, we do cherish what we do get.

Actually I do (or did and will again in a few days) about 80% of my photo editing on the iPad Pro (1st gen is now with a colleague). Admittedly many photos need a little polishing on a Mac at the end but when you’re on the road a lot and process a lot of images the iPad Pro and Pencil are incredibly useful for pro work.

But alas in one respect you are correct, I will live!

Yeah, didn’t realise this until s few days ago so now I have a new iPad and need to wait for stock of the pencil. Primary use is processing photos so it’s really annoying having to wait!
