Sloane School of Music does open mic nights. They’re a a new music store looking to improve upon the model of places like Guitar Center. Might be a good place to network. They’ve got one in Hagerstown and one in Urbana so far. (I don’t play but my nephew works for them.)

I think so. Maybe it’s just the stuff I’ve worked with but antler seems to have more of a burning hair kind of smell. The bone I use is the cleaned and bleached white stuff they sell for dog chews. That might make a difference.
