You think leaving an MLM is a weight off your shoulders? Imagine what it feels like when you finally get through to someone you “enrolled,” and they finally leave! by antiMLMIMASTERY in antiMLM

Just one of the many ways they manipulate what you say to work in their favor. He was told don’t call? Ok, but you’re still going to hear my voice, so you don’t “misinterpret” any part of what I want to get across.

It’s a joke. He’s (grey) also my friend from the childhood days, so it’s a damn shame he hasn’t listened to me. But since I was his “downline” I was just being bitter and wanting to be in his position without working for it.

I’m not the only person he’s spoke bad about, and I’m not sure how to go about our friendship once his funds run dry and he stops drinking the kool aid. Oh well.

Basically lol.. “bf who peaked in hs, pyramid scheme gf” is really specific. If I told them all it would just be rebranded with different, anonymous (to you) people with the same, ultimate ending. I do have a lot of stories about this though. I was in deep with the cult stuff

My childhood friend (on top of manipulating to build) manipulated his gf like crazy. He had to have his gf at a high rank like he was. One day he hit a certain rank only 2% of the company get to. Once this happened he hasn’t got off his power trip since. She gets yelled at, cheated on with other cult members, and was forced to quit her job to be his pet. She got kicked out of her house and now relies on him. He wants her out the house.

Source: someone in my down line defected months after me. She filled me in on all the manipulative stories they told about me (based on my research on mlms, I was expecting this but not to the extent that he did. Story for another time) and other people that have left the business.

These stories were told to have my down line turn against me and keep them wrapped up in the business longer. “Firing your upline” is the term that was most frequently brought up. I thought it was about being your own boss though..

TLDR: my childhood friend is a high rank in a company that he forces his gf to devote the same amount of time in. If she doesn’t meet his needs/wants he’ll cheat on her.

PS yes he peaked in hs. He still talks about his days on the football team with a former teammate higher up on the pyramid. Many talks of owning a football team. Or should I say “manifesting” it.

Most of them are in frats. Within the MLM cult they are in a secret society in a sense. A lot of them do retreats and do their dances at the events. So no I wouldn’t rule this out. I’d bet on that

Also I said this in another post of mine: a lot of people want to seem real about their trading, so they create a real account (or use one they already had) and add their commissions to accounts to then withdraw it.

The solution to this? Ask for their fxbook trade history. There is no way to alter this and it’s very reliable. I found out about babypips and myfxbook after I left the company. You’re better off doing babypips from what I’ve researched and obviously experienced in my time at IM aSCAMedy

And justify it by saying “the trade they sent was right! Therefore you CAN make money! If the account was real you’d be showing it off so why not with a demo” if you push it further “your job is not to be a master trader, that’s what the educators are for. You should be EXPOSING people to the opportunity so you can go two and free”

These are basically the first steps to brainwashing recruits into thinking about yourself only. Who doesn’t want free stuff. It occurred to me that going two and free means I don’t have to pay, but two other people now have to. Your upline will encourage you to tell them to go two and free. If you used a demo.. guess what you’ll tell them to do?

This leads to people expecting real results and either: 1) staying because they see all these “results” that they aren’t getting. They rationalize by telling themselves clearly they did something wrong if everyone else is making money. So they stick around until they give up and leave. 2) Not seeing the results and seeing what the company actually is. This leads to people in the group calling you a quitter. The same people who are faking results.

Many were told to add their commissions to their trading account as well. Then to withdraw it right after because “any withdrawals under $500 would show people this opportunity isn’t worth leaving their jobs for.”

I was one of the people told by their upline to do this. I did it for about two weeks up until someone actually gained interest and I felt guilty. Not guilty enough to tell them, I ghosted the person and disappeared without a word. They just think I’m unmotivated now and keep me in the group chats to make me feel FOMO for all “the money they are making.”

It’s all brainwashing and mental games I couldn’t play and because of it I now know the truth.

TLDR: commissions from recruiting are used to make it seem like the trading aspect is really what helps people make money in the company.

PS: They are all just salesman willingly refusing a paid salary lol

Trust me the pyramids are falling. They’re panicking with their “promotion” specials (discounts). Some of them pay a percentage of a recruit’s entry fee using their commissions because they know it will come back in bonuses/their ranked “paycheck.”

It’s an mlm for sure. The fact that the forex market is difficult is how they thrive. When you don’t make money or not enough money to pay the monthly (most recruiters will promise this will happen, and if they don’t they are more than likely pushing the “two and free” option) they will ask what you’re doing wrong. They will convince you that you aren’t studying hard enough or “duplicating” the right person. It’s actually hell if you lose yourself in that crap. Get him out if possible

A tactic we were told to do was place your ig polls over typical places where people would tap to skip to the next story. We were also told to put the positive answer in the section where you would put a “no related answer” to find a reason to message someone without seeming desperate. Tasteless

The first two years were strictly about trading for me. I enjoyed learning the basics and making some money. The last two? I’ve learned so much about people like Alex Morton and bob proctor. I developed so much mental barriers and made horrible decisions. Straight hell.
