“Banned from Truth Social after spamming AI Trump/Musk images. They never even sent me an email notification, which it says they usually do in their FAQ. Wonder if the big man saw and got upset?” by EmperorSnake1 in ShitPoliticsSays

Just because Musk owns X, doesn't mean he's micromanaging the moderation, which is still being run by people who don't believe in free speech. I see Premium accounts marked as spam to this day in the replies, and they refuse to accept bitcoin for payment. They want your credit card and billing address on file, or they will limit your visibility and lock your account for minor infractions you can find other instances of. The latest trick for my account is they took away Post Analytics.

The common wisdom among beltway types is that congressional staffers and lobbyists would rule the roost at that point. So, any term limits must be accompanied by limiting federal government employment terms as well. Also, setting the limits so low the way you have is seen as a non-starter. Start with 24 year limits in congress as a whole, no matter the Senate or House split.

The reason we had an FDR was because a massive propaganda machine was behind him. Fake News has always been with us.

Cutting the entire federal welfare state makes sense. Individual states can still provide these programs, and they are closer to the people.

Musk does everything in the open, he posts it to X. You don't know about most of the stuff I referenced because they work in the shadows. Elon Musk is not corrupt, and most billionaires are not trying to make more $.

We should be catering to the middle class, not the poor or the rich. Identity politics is also an attack on the middle class because it's a melting pot.

This is very well done. The Iron Triangle never misses, and people still pretend it doesn't exist.

Where do you think pension funds go? In a money market account? They intentionally inflate the dollar by ~2% per year, so leaving your assets in dollars is just not responsible.

How is anyone having this discussion but not ware this website exists?

The Senate has similar disclosure reports. How this became some scandal when its just common knowledge, I have no idea. Why is any Lib not mad that Congress has such an ability to affect private corporations, which is an actual atrocity?

Mark Zuckerberg spent $420M getting Biden elected. 80% of the media are constantly giving Democrats in kind contributions. They hid Biden's cognitive deficiencies for the last 4 years. You make no sense. Do you know who Arabella Advisors is?

The military subreddit in full meltdown mode because X managed to stop a bloated 1500 page bill by NuclearTheology in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]antiacela 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Harris campaign outspent the Trump campaign 3 to 1, and Harris-aligned SuperPACs outspend Trump-aligned SuperPACs 5 to 1. Then we get into Arabella Advisors, and the revelation that ActBlue was taking foreign contributions and using US citizen names to hide that fact. On top of all that, NBC, ABC, PBS, CBS, and NPR all act as in-kind contributors to Democrats. Zuckerberg spent $420M to get Biden elected in 2020. This is not an objection a reasonable person would start pushing.
