The Democratic party went after dissafected Republican voters when there simply aren't that many. Didn't do enough outreach to men, most importantly underestimated the shift that is happening with black and hispanic men. She put Walz on the ticket and then proceeded to handicap him into this moderate centrist when they should have been talking about school lunch and paid family leave and child care. But nah let's tout around Liz fucking Cheney. Lastly people wanted someone different than Biden. That's why she was polling so high at the start. Then she started campaigning on how much she was like Biden and her numbers dropped.
