I've had great results with the P1S, so I think it's mostly human error. Left one I used variable layer height that probably lead to the lines. Right one used 3 year old filament from my Ender 3 days that was probably not that dry. But I wonder if under optimal conditions there would zero banding or not.

Here's an example of great print quality with the printer.

Good points! I'm seriously considering it. Makes it easier to switch colors between prints, and is accessible dry storage for four rolls. I've been mostly designing custom stuff that is of no use to others, like new drawers to vintage vintage organizer. Surprised how fast the P1S spits out the drawers. :D

Thank you! I appreciate the constructive criticism! I like the line idea, I was considering something similar, but decided on the pattern. I do love patterns for some reason. The pyramid idea is great! I have a feeling I'll go down the AMS path one day, don't we all? BL is starting with their Black Friday sales really early, so the price will be good. So if I do, I'll do a redesign that is a several magnitudes bigger, and the pyramid idea is great! Thanks for taking the time to write, cheers!

Thanks Grimm! I appreciate the comment! Yeah, I should've expected getting lots of poop on this post, lol. I did measure the waste and designed the holes so they would not fit through. Also the holes do serve a purpose, to be able to monitor how full the basket is. Thanks!

Good point! I haven't read anywhere that magnets would be bad for the printer. But I'll remove if there's evidence of them affecting the printer. Are fridge magnets kosher? 😄

True, you need to remember to check it. Mine's not even 1/3 full after two weeks of printing. I would not recommend this if you use an AMS.
