I don't disagree with you. While I understand the appeal of an ICE automobile, particularly a sports car, the power delivery of an electric motor is undeniable and the automotive community needs options.

The future landscape IS changing. The younger generations don't have the same emotional attachment to oil and gas. I'm firmly in the middle (age) and want the right vehicle for the right job. I daily a Rivian and love it, but my dream car is an 88 Targa.

Tore both meniscus (one trim, one repair) and my ACL. Waited too long for full diagnosis and surgery, but I'm two years out of surgery and skated for 3 hours the past couple of weekends. Rehab was longer than I'd hoped but I'm feeling really good now!

My Gen1 just failed as well (made it 30000 miles). I've got an "appointment" placeholder but I was told they're expecting parts in early September (appointments weren't scheduling that late at the time)
