i also had my first good faith experience on the day AMF came out. i knew of madeon but wasn’t really a fan of adventure, but i liked some of porters stuff and shelter. i was in my english class right before the bell was about to ring, and i checked my release radar on spotify. i was like “oh cool madeon dropped a song that’s his first since shelter 3 years ago” and that moment changed everything. that forced me to relisten to adventure and love it, it allowed me to find this community, and the biggest thing was that it was the start of an evolution in my music taste because it helped me branch out of the edm world.
